God Clouds

This mortal mind

Housed within ingenious grace

Mirrors yet the smallest child

The strongest man of might

The eldest of our tribe in feeble step

All

Evidence of finite time

And though great ponderances

In scholars, artists must

To think themselves esteemed

That same great question, fear & curiosity

Does within a small child live

Who may or may not see the fall of age

Where we think ourselves alone

So divine in reminisce

To consider once again the plight of being

With innocence aware, pristine

& not as we who falter at the edge of grave

                So far into life

That sunrise only dwells in chambered vault

Of childhood memory
